Here are five restaurants that have recently opened or reopened in Round Rock:

Besos Cocina & Cantina held a soft opening at 3107 S. I-35, Round Rock, on June 16 with a grand opening planned for July 8. The Mexican-inspired restaurant occupies a building formerly home to Tortuga Flats, which closed in 2018. 737-708-8017.

Lonestar Kolaches opened in a building formerly occupied by Little Red Wagon Hamburgers on June 18. The space was renovated to accommodate two businesses and is occupied by both Lonestar Kolaches and Long Island Deli. Owners Massey and Allen Wallace own six other Lonestar Kolaches locations in the Austin area, all of which offer traditional sweet kolache pastries, egg kolaches and sausage kolaches. Other kolache varietals on the menu include barbecue, pizza roll, Philly cheesesteak and chicken quesadilla. Little Red Wagon closed in January 2021. 512-906-0255.

Long Island Deli opened in the former Little Red Wagon building at 1207 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, on May 24. The deli offers bagels, hero subs, salads, sandwiches, soups and various sides. 512-505-8123.

Red Lotus Asian Grille opened in the Round Rock Boardwalk shopping center at 2601 S. I-35, Ste. A500, on May 28. The restaurant’s menu features appetizers such as fried calamari, egg rolls, Vietnamese spring rolls and main dishes, including pho, General Tso’s, and pad thai, desserts and children’s options. 512-366-5442.

Twin Peaks reopened its Round Rock location June 27 after completion of tornado-related repairs, according to an announcement from the company. The sports lodge at 100 Louis Henna Blvd. serves craft beer and scratch menus and has high-definition TV screens. 512-238-7325.
